Books with Flowers on the Cover

You have to bring flowers into the house when the spring sun comes out. Daffodils are very pretty and plentiful this time of year. As well as real or fake flowers, the flowers on book covers also count. They make your day much brighter!

The Pieces of The Pieces of Us Caroline MontagueUs – Caroline Montague

Marina and Hugh were once madly in love. But after the loss of their beautiful little daughter, grief has created a distance between them that feels impossible to bridge. Marina knows leaving Italy is the only way they will be able to move on, but Thorncliffe Hall, Hugh’s family home in England, is so grey and unwelcoming.

Clairmont by Lesley McDowellClairmont Lesley McDowell

The story of Mary Shelley’s stepsister, Claire Clairmont. I just loved the flowers on this cover as they really frame the title and images within.

The plants and flowers on this cover have more significance than most – do you know what properties and potions they can create?

Eustacia Rose is a Professor of Botanical Toxicology who lives alone in London with only her extensive collection of poisonous plants for company.

Mary by Anne Eekhout

Now this is the story of Mary Shelley who went on to write Frankenstein. However, it’s the flowers on this cover that just catches the eye. On that luscious background of gothic purple, the pink flowers make you want to pick this book up straight away!
