Italy and Northumberland

The Hermitage

Your travel itinerary : Starting out from Northumberland, you will spend a little time here in the city of many bridges and in a gothic castle on top a hill. Walking books and waterproof shoes are advisable here as there is a lot of mud and water when you cross the river in a boat.

Once you head over to the Florence part of the journey, you can ditch the waterproofs and go in search of icecreams, Italian coffee and an international case of intrigue. There is a nice visit to a posh art gallery and a stunning villa so bring something smart.
