Novel destinations in November

  • Submitted: 1st November 2018

There’s more than a few novel destinations to look forward to this November…..

From Northumberland to Norway, but it’s not just about the letter N…..

There’s a lovely epic tale which takes place in Scotland and Spain too…

So which novel destinations will you be going on?

Mari Hannah

Northumberland with Mari Hannah

Always  a treat to wander around Northumberland with Mari Hannah’s characters. This time, it’s all about the rural railways and the body of a young woman found by a Northumberland line. It’s a baptism of fire for the Murder Investigation Team’s newest detective duo: DCI David Stone and DS Frankie Oliver….

Karen Swan

Norway and the Norwegian fjords with Karen Swan

This could be an advert for the Norwegian fjords! The mountains play a major role and are an important part of the wonderful landscape of this country. It’s no surprise that two youtubers working for a travel channel, Wanderlusters, are travelling around the region, choosing places to stay for maximum “likes”. The Norwegian fjords are their playground, photos are carefully crafted. Sometimes looking into a camera instead of being in the moment can make you not see certain things however….

Lucinda Riley takes us to Granada, Spain for a bit of flamenco…

There’s not just a dancing jaunt to Spain in this novel. Oh no, it starts in Scotland at a grand manor home and hunting grounds, where the mysterious white stag is a sight hunters and visitors would love to see. The parts in Spain are the strongest with the sights and sounds of the city of Granada coming through loud and clear. The story of flamenco is flamboyant and exciting and the stories which unfold in those Sacromonte hills are wonderfully capitvating.

And that’s not all….
