The Orenda Roadshow rolls into town! – Authors are my rockstars. I’ve never been one for music concerts although take me to a jazz bar and I’ll never leave. What I love to do is to spend an evening or two in the presence of writing masters. These people have written thousands of words, put them all together, brought characters to life, created new worlds…..and invited me inside them. Anyone else feel really special when they read a great book? As if the characters and authors are talking to you directly?
Next week then is going to blow your mind!
I don’t know of any other publisher who does this – organise a roadshow with many of their authors, travelling around the UK on trains, planes and automobiles* to reach readers in libraries and bookshops.
