Exciting news!! The BookTrail was given the huge honour of being asked to look at the shortlist of the Wilbur and Niso Smith Adventure writing awards.
A couple of days later a BOX OF BOOKS arrived. And to top it off, a lovely note and a stunning Tote Bag.
The reading adventures have begun. Who is going to win the coveted prize? These six books are so unique and different to each other, its going to be tough to decide. The BookTrail is going to showcase the books as the marvels they are, no matter who wins.
But first……. The Wilbur and Niso Smith org:
Launched in September 2015, the Wilbur and Niso Smith Foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to empowering writers, promoting literacy and advancing adventure writing as a genre.
Wilbur Smith was born in Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia), Central Africa, in 1933 and died in 2021.
Niso Smith was born in Tajikistan, Central Asia and has been Managing Director of the Wilbur Smith Enterprise since May 2005.
