Morecambe and Vice…..

  • Submitted: 28th September 2018

This weekend sees the rather fabulous crime festival Morecambe and Vice return for the second time! A recent newcomer to the crime festival scene but one to be reckoned with. The play on its name – that of the popular comedy duo is a reason unto itself to be honest. But just look who will be appearing on the stage…

Bring me sunshine….

To say this is going to be  a great weekend is a given. “Bring me sunshine in your smile bring me fiction and lots of crime”

It’s set in the auspicious surroundings of the Winter Gardens (most recently seen in BBC One’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution) so already the crime credentials are alive and well. Morecambe is a nice seaside town where you would hope crime even takes a holiday but not this weekend – there will be more murderers, fraudsters and more (fictional thank goodness) there this weekend than ever before.

“In this world where we live there should be more happiness…” continues the famous song and well, this festival line up will make you smile..
