Books with phrases in the titles

Some books evoke song titles, others sayings or sometimes a title reminds you of something, no?

Here’s a fun collection:

Same Time Next Week Milly JohnsonSame Time Next Week – Milly Johnson

A phrase that is used a lot in English. I associate it with people or services you see or get every week. I don’t know why but it sounds friendly. Like someone who lived in a village and would come round with cake every week.

Don't Swipe Right L M ChiltonDon’t Swipe Right by L M Chilton

A phrase associated with dating apps of course and this is what this story is all about. Love the modern phrase that will either excite you or fill your heart with fear.

Famous Last Words Gillian McAllisterFamous Last Words – Gillian McAllister

This is a phrase you hear quite a lot. It’s not just the final words someone says before they die, but rather something that someone says and then five mins later, the situation changes dramatically. Ie before you go into a bookstore, you say that there are no books that are going to grab your attention today. Famous last words as you know there will be purchases made!

They Had it Coming by Nikki Smith

Often said as as if agreeing with revenge or being pleased that someone has been knocked down a peg or two.

Into Thin Air Ørjan KarlssonInto Thin Air – Orjan Karlsson

I love this phrase. When you read it, I think of magic. Or as in a crime novel like this one that someone has gone missing and there is no explanation for it! Mystery infused in every word and it gives me the shivers!
