BookTrail Brunch – Spring reading
BookTrail Brunch – Spring reading
I love flowers and when it’s spring I always like to read with flowers in the room. Not keen on artificial scent so flowers are perfect as well as being pretty.
The Trolley of Temptation always has flowers on it and now it has some fine spring reads that will let you travel to some brilliant spring settings where flowers are aplenty! And where there are lots of animals bounding around in fields or in hives.
Secrets of the Bees – Jane Johnson
You can’t beat Spring for seeing the first bees. And eating honey. In this book, time has forgotten this remote corner of West Cornwall, and left its many secrets undisturbed. Until now…
Imagine going to visit a book wagon in the countryside?
Bea’s Book Wagon – Julie Haworth
This is a fictional place but the book wagon feels very real and oh how I wish it was!
This would be the best thing about spring wouldn’t it?
Smell the Scottish heather!
Scot and Bothered – Alexandra Kiley
This is a real life trail in the Scottish highlands, so imagine walking here in the Spring when the flowers and heather scent the air!
I could imagine taking a picnic to any one of these locations and reading all day. Imagine spending time in Scotland with the highland cows, the hum of the bees, the smell of heather and the promise of a visit to the book wagon.
