Remember where the best thing about returning to school was all that lovely new stationery? Now I like to carry on that tradition with new books and new bookish gifts.

Reading journal – always good to have a paper one for the scent alone

Pen and pencils – annotating tools

Eraser – even bookish people make mistakes

Pencil Case – there’s something very cosy about a pencil case

Tape – with books on it of course

Stickers for your computer or notepad – of books of course

A tote bag – you get the idea…

A miniature or sweets you have been gifted with a book

And memories of English lessons where you would have to be quiet so you could sit and read. BLISS

Or time spent in the library just enjoying the view and the smell of books.

And waiting for home time to be able to return to your own book nook at home.
