Poldark – This is Your Life

  • Submitted: 4th September 2016

Well the big day has arrived – weeks of preparation, sleepless nights wondering if the day would ever arrive and the trauma of seeing Elizabeth being attacked by a fly live on Lorraine. Not to mention the news that Ross dropped Demelza in the water during filming….the cast are most likely black and blue for this second series ( heard a cameraman got a bump on the head so hope he’s ok!) Poldark is like the modern day Crocodile Dundee with all the risks of the trade. And that’s before he gets down the mines.

Poldark

So we thought we’d put a little post together to celebrate Ross’s life so far and to celebrate the work that goes into this programme, how they are adapted for television and why we love Ross, Demelza and the Cornish clan..

Poldark this is your life…….

Poldark

“Dry your eyes Demelza, it’s been a cracking week and the series hasn’t even started yet!”

Poldark and Demelza really do love Cornwall and have been spotted relaxing on the beach between takes

Poldark’s horse is now a star in his own right and making demands for the best apples when appearing in Horse and Hound. It is debatable who has the best shaggy black hair in this picture in the Daily Mirror.

This week there was drama when a fly dared to attack Elizabeth live on air. Poldark was informed and the fly was marched off to appear in the Bodmin Assizes.

Poldark is a normal guy. He has been spotted  in Asda.

Poldark

This is your life in just one week Poldark. What are you going to be like this series? Can’t wait to see!

Poldark starts tonight at 9pm on BBC One. September 4th. Last few hours to enter our competition to Win a signed picture of Poldark himself!
