Travel tips for bookworms en situ

Apart from the obvious – find out where the local bookshops are and visit them, there are lots of ways to enjoy a visit to a new place if you are a bookworm.

  • Visit Bookshops: Seek out iconic spots like the bookshops in Hay-on-Wye or Shakespeare and Company in Paris. Ask bookstore owners for local recommendations to get a feel for the city’s culture and where the local authors write about.

  • Map Literary Locations: Plan your trip around PLACES IN BOOKS!!! Well you knew this was going to be on there didn’t you?
