Mrs Blossom is a widower who has never left the US – but she’s now on a cruise along the Seine seeing the wonderful French countryside.

REVIEW

This is more of a gentle travelogue than a crime novel but it works as both! It’s cosy crime with a stunning scenery. Mrs Blossom is a bit naive for an older woman to be fair, but she’s a good egg as they say. She’s a fun character but I’m not sure I would want her solving any crime. She believed more than I would have done and trusted strangers from the off. However, this was a fun read and there was lots to see in the foreground as well as the back.

I did like being on the boat! This was the novel for me if I’m honest and it has really made me want to go on a cruise. Well, apart from the murder of course.
