Scottish Highlands

(Fictional Glensay)

But there was no snow. No avalanche. Just her warm, cozy bedroom in Glensay Lodge, where the remains of a fire danced in the hearth and darkness of the endless winter night shone black through a gap in the curtains.

She loves living in the Scottish Highlands and calls it a land of mist and mountains, of lochs and legends.

Glensay might be fictional but it’s a very picturesque village that often ressembles Narnia in some ways as it can get cut off during heavy snow. This is however a very close knit, supportive community  and where the girls were brought up. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else – sometimes good news, sometimes not!

Glencoe is on the map as the name is similar and plus it’s a lovely and very famous Scottish village!

Booktrailer Review

Susan: @thebooktrailer

A family holiday in the Scottish highlands sounds nice right? Bringing your family home from around the world? It will be lovely to see everyone but what about that tragic secret which no one talks about?

It’s going to be a memorable holiday that’s for sure.
