What you need to know before your trail

As dawn breaks over the Pont Neuf, the cobbled alleyways of Paris come to life.

Mornings are when Anna Trent can be found hard at work; mixing and stirring the finest, smoothest, richest chocolate; made entirely by hand, and then sold on to those who love fine chocolate.

She used to work in a chocolate factory in the north of England. But an accident changed everything, but something good came out of tragedy as she was given the chance to work in the chocolate capital of the world

Travel Guide

This book should come with a warning as you will immediately want to jump on  a plane or train to Paris with a box of chocolate in your bag the moment you open the cover. You can almost smell it, it’s that vivid with the romantic backdrop of Paris and its quaint cobbled streets, this is the perfect place to fine out about the art of chocolate (yes eating it is an art too don’t cha know)

From the cold streets of the Northern England city where Anna has her accident to the Pont Neuf and cobbled alleyways of gay Paree, this is Anna’s journey into hope and a better life in the city of romance and chocolate.

Anna takes us on a journey around Paris and food as she goes on a journey of her own  as she remembers her younger self and how she met the town’s master chocolatier, Thierry Girard, owner of the prestigious Le Chateau Chocolat. and how they fall in love.
Claire was in love with Thierry at one time and years later the three of theme meet up….

From the moment she steps off the train at Eurostar terminal,  we see Anna take Paris with both hands as well as immersing both in chocolate. We see the isle de la cite and the morning sun off the bridges over the seine and the rue de Rivoli. There’s the cobbled streets and the parks and people drinking coffee on their street cafes.

There are many fine chocolate shops in Paris which we think you should try just to experience he book you understand. The Parisian experts among us share the Maison du Chocolat as Jenny does in her author section of the book at the back. She also mentions the patrick roger on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Tell you what though ,as you do the booktrail and follow Anna trough the city of love see how many  chocolate shops you can see and visit of course!
