What you need to know before your trail

Stranded in the Welsh mountains, seven reality show contestants have no idea what they’ve signed up for.

Each of these strangers has a secret. If another player can guess the truth, they won’t just be eliminated – they’ll be exposed live on air. The stakes are higher than they’d ever imagined, and they’re trapped.

The disappearance of a contestant wasn’t supposed to be part of the drama. Detective Ffion Morgan has to put aside what she’s watched on screen, and find out who these people really are – knowing she can’t trust any of them.

And when a murderer strikes, Ffion knows every one of her suspects has an alibi . . . and a secret worth killing for.

Travel Guide

The Welsh mountains

Oh what a premise! The setting is the Welh mountains and rural area in and around  Felingwm Isaf and CarregPlas. The farm where the show is being filmed is

This is happening not far from where Fion lives and her postman is one of the contestants. Her sister’s boyfriend works on the show so another reason to watch.

The Welsh countryside really comes into its own here. A reality show in the mountains on a farm. It sounds perfect! This is no survival show however. Every contestant has had to tell the producers a secret to get on the show and if they don’t win, their secret will be broadcast to the world.

One contestant escapes however so the mountains become even more remote as it’s tricky to find one person in this landscape. The Welsh countryside adds a further dimension to the challenging and wild nature of the TV show.
