What you need to know before your trail

Lola Fitzpatrick like many other women appreciates jewels and diamonds as much as the next girl. One day whilst browsing in the window

Warren’s jewellers caught Lola’s eye. Warrens has produced some fine jewellery famous  with celebrities and stars alike. A man stands beside her and asks if she would like to model the range. She can’s stay long though as she has to quickly get back to work. Little does she know how the Warren name so many women covet will have an effect on her entire life.

Years later, daughter Bey is fascinated by jewellery and so wants to train to work in the trade.  The story of Warren’s jewellers comes back to the fore. And the old adage that diamonds are   girls best friend may in fact not be the truth after all

Travel Guide

Dublin

The world of jewellery

Warrens was an iconic store in Dublin and Lola knew a little of its history. It had been founded in the 1950s by Richard Warren, a watchmaker who realised that Dubliners wanted more than utilitarian timepieces. He’s expanded to include jewellery that wasn’t generally available  in the city at the time, and established a reputation for good quality at reasonable prices.

This story has the backdrop of Dublin and centers around a  jewellers – the story is fictional but there is a jewellers called Warren – founded by a real life brother and sister in 1979.

There are references to diamonds, rubies and sapphires throughout and a the exclusive Ice Dragon range.
