What you need to know before your trail

Remember that scene in the film when Julia Roberts stands in front of Hugh Grant and says ‘ I’m just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love me’
Scarlett loves the film that much that she imagines herself in it and so wonder if her sensible fiancé David just as much? The wedding is looming…

But then she gets the chance to house sit in Nottling Hill itself – on the set of the fim if you think about it as she does. And likeJulia Roberts, she bumps into someone on that street who could well change her life

But will Scarlett be starring in a romantic comedy or a fillm she might not want to see again?

Travel Guide

Notting Hill is a charming place in London where Hugh Grant lives and works in a bookshop, where there is a great market, great coffee shiops and a buzz not found anywhere else in London. Well all apart from the  Hugh Grant one is true, so it’s no wonder that Scarlett wants to live there. She gets to live on the film set of her favourite movie so naturally she sees herself as the Julia Roberts character and a man named Sean as the possible love interest?
Ah and the film was great – walk down the famous Portobello road where the market was in the film before buying a coffee at Coffee Republic  or maybe an orange juice at the corner of Westbourne Park Road but be careful not to spill it on anyone as you come round the corner.
You should definitely pay a visit to Hugh Grant’s travel book shop at 142 Portobello Road which we think really should be a travel book shop! But don’t knock on the famous door at 280 Westbourne Park road as it is actually someone’s house and Hugh Grant will definitely not be there.
Ali’s book captures the magic of the movie and the charm of its location – and adds to it. the girl actually recreates the movie trail and visits the locations in turn and now you can visit via this book too. The booktrail here captures the iconic filming locations.
Where was the vibrant market that Hugh Grant had walked through, with its eccentric market traders selling their wild and wacky wares?
Fiction is often stranger than truth….
