What you need to know before your trail
A group of teenagers head out to the local drive-in for the last time. “The Constellation” is soon to be no more and so many of the inhabitants of Promise Falls are going to see it off in style. The teenagers are taking beer and are even smuggling in a friend in the bot of the car.
But there will be no film as the drive in screen suddenly blows up. People who aren’t killed instantly run for their lives. Is this just a tragic accident or something more sinister?
The mystery doesn’t stop there however as when one of the victim’s daughters asks PR Cal Weaver to look at a break in at her father’s house, his investigation leads to a lot more than he bargained for

“Promise Falls”
This is a fictional place but the author says it’s north of Albany and is actually inspired by Peterborough in Ontario, Canada where he worked on the local paper!
For such a small, fairly non descript and remote-ish town in Upstate New York, there is an awful lot of strange goings on here. From the quaint memories of an outdoor cinema drive – in to an indoor sex den. Wonder what goes on behind closed doors? Like a nosey at the neighbours? You’ll never be bored in Promise Falls….
