Inverness
Some of the places in the book are fictional such as Drumdalloch Woods but there are places in and around the area of Inverness that sound very similar!
There are also a few scenes in Edinburgh such as in Space NK in George Street, but these are mentions rather than scenes.
Drumdalloch Woods on the Black Isle is where this book is set. It even SOUNDS creepy. Well, wait until you go deep into them in this novel. There is a LOT to be creeped out over let me tell you. That cover started me off and as I ventured in more…jeez, but what an experience!
Some people want to protect the woods for scientific value but then there are others who want to sell bits off for development.
Then a body is found amongst the trees….
ooh very atmospheric!
