And then suddenly Skye is invited to join an exclusive gang known as the Secret Runners of New York. But this is no ordinary clique – they have access to an underground portal that can transport them into the future. And what Skye discovers in the future is horrifying . . .

As society crumbles and Skye and Red race to figure out how to use their knowledge to survive the impending annihilation, they soon discover that the chaotic end of the world is a fine time for revenge

Travel Guide

Travel BookTrail style to an alternative New York

So, you want to find a portal to an alternative New York?

Why not try the places in the book and see what you find?

First stop – The American Museum of Natural History where we meet Becky and where something is later found. There are lots of old and ancient objects here so just imagine what energies they posses?

Explore the San Remo area of the city as this is the posh area where many of the rich kids seem to live. Take time to wander around Central Park as the novel’s events all happen in and around, and even underneath this iconic park. Careful when you get to 79th St Transverse though as that’s where we meet Becky at the start of the book.

Then there’s the underground tunnels…..
