There is a mermaid who has the most beautiful voice ever but is looking forward to the day she can swim and go above the water. Each mermaid has their day, and when she does, she finds a shipwreck and rescues a man on board. She ends up falling in love but the mermaid can’t be with him unless she gives up her voice and takes on a human form.

Then she has the task of making him fall in love with her, otherwise her powers will fade and she will return to the sea forever.
