What you need to know before your trail

In the ancient Turkish city of Ruin, American journalist Liv Adamsen lies, her memory blank, in an isolation ward, just staring into space.

All she can remember is that she entered the monumental Citadel at the heart of Ruin. She knows that she herself is the key to something but she doesn’t know what or how.

Someone knows however – The mercenary they call The Ghost operating in the Syrian Desert, Liv is the key to one of mankind’s most potent secrets. For the brotherhood in the Citadel – now cursed by a terrible plague – her return is the only way to ensure their survival.

However as far as the catholic church in Rome is concerned, she threatens the very future of the Catholic Church….

Travel Guide

Liv and Gabriel broke into the Citadel and releases the Sacrament in the first book, The Tower. Now this book picks up exactly at that moment – so once again we’re thrust back right into the heart of that Turkish desert.
But the Citadel in Ruin has changed somewhat – the Sacrament has gone and its absence has caused a dramatic effect to the people and the landscape left behind. Plants and the flowers and fruit on them are dying.

The Monks who live in the Citadel are suffering from a hideous disease. Something is very very wrong and very very serious.

The next part of Liv and Gabriel’s trail sees them searching for the elusive Garden of Eden. This is the world of the citadel, the caverns and tunnels carved into the mountains, the secrets buried in the Syrian desert..

Stay strong and keep the faith. And beware of the monks.
