Sussex and Brisbane
Most of the novel is set in and around Sussex England. There’s a few villages and places such as Sutton and Lewes. It manages to take in the Sussex Downs too which is magical.
The novel is fuelled with folklore and magical aspects from the past. There are also references to a witchery past. Imagine finding out you have inherited a cottage from a grandmother you never knew and then you get to know about the legacy of women who might just have known a spell or two.
