What you need to know before your trail

Lily who we met in LA now invites her three friends to a VIP event in Manhattan, and not surprisingly, they all jump at the chance. Poppy has her big 30 coming up and so is planning to celebrate in style. Very Sex and the city…

But is this the kind of holiday they are all expecting and just what is Lily really planning?

They’re going to have fun experiencing New York and whatever it brings..

Travel Guide

New York seen through the eyes of Lily, Poppy, Rachel and Maggie is not the city you might know and love for their spin on things brings fun and frolics as only then can.

They might start off in London with Twinkleberry fizz but things are about to get a whole lot more fizzy….Even the plane journey over  “I’m lying down on a plane” means that this is a part of the journey that is funny before they even get all Sex and the city. Play it cool girls, play it cool…

Oh and the transport from the airport? Only a chrysler convertible with Jim of Jim’s tours…

It’s then that the story reads like a fun playlist – from ‘Hot in the city’ in Brooklyn and their “Empire State of Mind’ when they pass over the Wiliamsburg Bridge, the picture of New York slowly forms and we were getting as excited as they were….the green and white street lights, the baseball caps and Little Italy.

Arriving on Mercer and Prince Streets on the corner of Soho, we hop out (as by now we are definitely in that car with them) And just if we think we might leave them to take a look around ourselves, they decide on Cosmos….

Breakfast the next day is at Jack’s Wife Freda on Lafayette Street and the tune is Rufus Wainwright’s cover of ‘Across the Universe’

The start of a fun and fabulous girlie weekend…but what is Lily planning exactly?
