Lake Pristine

The location is vague and only referred to is Lake Pristine which is fictional. It is clearly in America and there is a Pristine Lake! There are a few places nearby where it could be. Very hot however as they are in Colorado. Not cold as in the book!

Lake Pristine does have that small-town charm. Just close your eyes and picture the cosy, warm cafes, snow-dusted streets, and funny, quirky locals. There’s even an annual snowball fight.
