The island has a secret. One summer a woman took her own life here, in the very place she would spend every summer. Her husband suspects that her friends, who were with her at the time, know something they aren’t saying. So, when he gets the chance to return to the island at the same time as these friends, he wants to find out the truth.
However, on their first night there, another tragedy strikes. This island might have more secrets than anyone could have imagined.

The manor house is of course fictional – but this is the main setting for the action. You can imagine where it is as there are many big houses where it could be. But trying to find it is half the fun!
The island plays a huge role in the story and is very much a character itself. Like in’And Then There Were None, the island is both a holiday and a prison. When the storm comes, good luck getting back to the mainland!
