Rosa Fiore is the daughter of a sultry Sicilian matriarch. La Cucina, the kitchen at the heart of the family’s lush estate, was a place where generations of Fiore women prepared sumptuous feasts and where family got together.

Rosa is passionate for cooking as she grows up and falls in love with a man who is already taken. Their love affair ends and so she finds solace in the kitchen and working in  a library..
