What you need to know before your trail

Eva, Benedict, Sylvie and Lucien are friends throughout university and when they graduate, the world is their oyster. Each of them is keen to break free from their past and go head first into their new and esxciting future. Eva breaks away to work in the City. Benedict stays behind to complete his PhD in Physics whilst pining for Eva, while siblings Sylvie and Lucien seek a more bohemian life of art, travel and adventure.

As their twenties give way to their thirties, the four friends find their paths diverging in the most unexpected of ways…

Travel Guide

Bristol

The starting point for everything that happens in the novel. Four friends meet and study here and each of them then goes on their own path. Sometimes these paths merge in the most interesting ways but those hallowed halls at Bristol Brandon Hill is where it all begins

London

The only other location in the book and leafy Hampstead is shown as is Primrose Hill and Canary Wharf – one of the characters has done rather well for themselves it would seem. A trader no less…

Another one DJs in a club in Vauxhall and Primrose Hill is the place where no matter where you are and where you go, it still comes calling and reminds you where you came from. The high point of the hill proves to be a good viewing spot.

There is mention of Goa and Cyprus  but neither of these feature in the main plot in any way.
