Food –  A popular dish is Cozido à portuguesa – a traditional stew for meat lovers, this dish includes chicken, beef, pork and several pork and blood sausages. It’s a hearty dish which also contains vegetables

A common Portuguese soup is caldo verde, which is made with potato, shredded kale, and chunks of chouriço (a spicy Portuguese sausage). Among fish recipes, salted cod (bacalhau) dishes are pervasive. The most typical desserts are arroz doce (rice pudding decorated with cinnamon) and caramel custard.

Music – Fado is Portugal’s national music – The ingredients of Fado are a shawl, a guitar, a voice and plenty of emotion
