Haunted by his wife and son’s brutal abduction and murder, ex-soldier Will Jaeger tries to escape from the world. And he does for a while, until he gets the call to complete one last mission.

He’s asked to go on, to lead an expedition into what is essentially the real life Lost World, a village in the remote Amazon jungle. There he hopes to find a mystery WWII warplane, one which contains a secret so explosive that it could totally destroy the world in more ways than one. There are people willing to go to any lengths in order to protect this secret. They will not welcome Will or his team.

But Will will soon be on a mission of his own as the jungle starts to reveal secrets which could help him unravel his past.

Cachimbo airport is the perfect starting point apparently for the journey to the Lost world deep in the Amazon. This is one very exciting challenge for Will and his team for it will mean venturing out into some of the most inhospitable and remote areas in the world. No one really knows what’s in the jungle or what they can find there.

One mystery plane which could hold secrets which date back to Nazi Germany would be one of the most amazing things anyone could find. Ironically Bear Grylls himself would more than love this challenge for real. Or course he would be eating all kinds of bugs along the way, but you can sense and feel the footsteps of one of the most intrepid explorers in each and every word.
