What you need to know before your trail

The people of King’s Lynn are celebrating Halloween and Dr Ruth Galloway is at an event at the local history museum. People have gathered to see the opening of a coffin which are supposed to contain the bones of a medieval bishop. However Ruth finds the body of the museum’s curator lying beside the coffin.

When the museum’s wealthy owner is found dead in the stables too, there seems to be something very disturbing going on.

Then threatening letters come to light and events take an even more sinister turn. How could Aboriginal skulls, drug smuggling and the mystery of The Dreaming hold the answer to these deaths and more?

Travel Guide

Kings Lynn

Bones can tell a story they say  – certainly archaeologists such as Ruth Galloway and when she is attending an event which will uncover some bones only to find the body of the Museum curator beside the coffin instead.

“The coffin is definitely a health and safety hazard.”

There is no Smith Museum in Kings Lynn but there is one museum  – Lynn_Museum  in particular which focuses on the history of the city and its legends

Newmarket

Death and bones seem to be the main theme of this book and it’s not long before this is transferred to the horse racing world as there are links to Newmarket. The Museum curator. He has received letters regarding Aboriginal skulls and whether they should be repatriated or not. These skulls it would seem may well carry a curse

Elginists

The mysticism of both Celtic and Aboriginal beliefs is combined and examined to an interesting effect. Elginists are those who believe that their ancestors should be returned to their native country
