What you need to know before your trail

Nina has always dreamed of being a star. Unfortunately her agent thinks she’s more girl-next-door than leading lady and her acting career isn’t going quite as planned. Then, after a series of very public blunders and to escape a gathering storm of paparazzi, Nina is forced to flee from London.

Her plan is to lay low with a friend in Devon, in beautiful Brightside Cove. But soon Nina learns that more drama can be found in a small village than on a hectic television set.

And when a gorgeous man (and his adorable dog) catch her eye, it’s not long before London and showbiz start to lose their appeal. Will Nina choose to return to the bright lights or has she met her match in Brightside Cove?

Brightside Cove  – Devon

Sadly fictional but it sounds lovely!

“We were right on the cliff tops overlooking a rocky bay. Fra below s was a crescent of golden sand an a cluster of youthful figures were racing towards the waves with surfboards under their arms. To the left a patchwork of fields edged with purpley gorse led away to a headland disappearing out into the sea, and down far away to the right was a harbour dotted with boats marooned by the tide and beyond that, a slipway and what looked like a pub, a couple of shops and a row of sherbet-coloured cottages.”

Whilst this might be a fictional place, there are a few places in Devon you can imagine are Brightside Cove:

There is a place called Hope Cove in South Devon (AOMB) near near Salcombe. There are two beaches here; Mouthwell and Harbour Beach.
