It’s chilly in Paris, so Miss Clavel and her pupils travel to Rome to experience the sun, the sights and the Sistine Chapel. A little holiday will do everyone good and it’s an education to visit the places the pupils have only ever read or heard about.
However the holiday takes a nasty turn when Miss Clavel has her camera stolen. Madeline chases after him and discovers a lot more than she expected!
