Now it’s all coming back. The fire. The thief. The scroll box. People are asking questions about the library. Questions that might relate to her sister’s murder.
And something called The Absolute Book.
A book in which secrets are written – and which everyone believes only she can find. They insist Taryn be the hunter. But she knows the truth.
She is the hunted . . .
Wye Valley
Wye Valley is featured on the map as this is the key real life location of the novel – the others are mentioned in passing or in a vague way. Fairyland and Purgatory are also key locations but as yet, no map of this world can accurately trace the journeys of those who enter those lands.
The novel is set in a variety of locations, including England, a magical fairyland, and Purgatory, with much smaller sections, in fact, barely mentions set in Auckland, New Zealand.
The story primarily unfolds in the UK, with key scenes in the Wye Valley and Norfolk. Additionally, the fairy realm, influenced by Irish and/or Celtic mythology, features prominently, and the narrative also includes settings like the Island of Apples and Summer Road of the Sidhe.
