In the small Ohio town of Bonhomie, Cal Jenkins and Margaret Salt come together in a stolen moment of passion, sparked in the exuberant aftermath of the Allied victory in Europe. There is no Bonhomie in Ohio but there is one in Arizona! In Ohio however, there is a company called Bonhomie Acres Pure Ohio Maple Sugar.
It is actually said to be around an hour away from Toledo.
Bonhomie in the novel:
