What you need to know before your trail

Blake Porter is riding high, until he’s not. Fired abruptly from his job as a VP of marketing and unable to make the mortgage payments on the new townhouse he shares with his fiancée, he’s desperate to make ends meet.

Enter Whitney. Beautiful, charming, down-to-earth, and looking for a room to rent. She’s exactly what Blake’s looking for. Or is she?

Because something isn’t quite right. The neighbours start treating Blake differently. The smell of decay permeates his home, no matter how hard he scrubs. Strange noises jar him awake in the middle of the night. And soon, Blake fears someone knows his darkest secrets…

Danger lives right at home, and by the time Blake realises it, it’ll be far too late. The trap is already set.

Travel Guide

Manhattan

There’s not really any locations in the book – it could take place anywhere. The locations that are mentioned are vague and not really key to the story. However, it’s clearly set in New York with a brief visit to New Jersey. The real story is what happens in that brownstone on the upper West Side!

Wherever you live, you may never want to get a tenant or be one again!

Booktrailer Review

A popcorn thriller as it’s fast paced, easy to read and unbelievable in parts but it’s so much fun! Did not guess where this was headed and that’s what made it such a good reading experience. I wanted to see what the fuss was about with the author and I can see why she’s popular. I bought this one as it had lovely sprayed edges but soon found that the story within was very intriguing.  Quite addictive. I think I need more.
