Poppy holds his hand the whole way.

Travel Guide

Ten holidays around the world

Which holiday/vacation spot that Alex and Poppy go on, would you pick?

The author asks this in her author note since at the time of release, the UK and the world is in the midst of the Covid pandemic where travel is banned. She laments the fact that we can’t jump on a bus or a water taxi as featured in the novel but she hopes nonetheless that we will be transported somewhere magical.

Despite the wide and varied locations – I SO want to go to Nashvegas 😉 – the novel is about home. More specifically, it’s about finding home, staying home,” wrapping your arms around it and breathing it in until it fills up your lungs.”

The locations featured are wide and varied – all the way from New York to Nashville, Italy and Croatia. Some are fleeing and some give the story away so the key locations  which help place the two leads and their backstories are featured on the map.
