Barbados

Westbury is the largest most crowded cemetery in Barbados and once a plantation was located here in the north of Bridgetown on Westbury Road. This is just one of the places which seems to have inspired the story as the history of the island is evoked with panache and excellence

There is a lot to this story – not just one girl’s search into the issues surrounding white slavery in the 17th century, but the flora and fauna comes to life too.
