Sadie moves back from New York with her daughter, Robin, into her deceased mother’s old house. This is quite a change and they both have to navigate many twists and turns in life.
The daughter heads to an elite private school and Sadie returns to legal practice. The family live in North London.
The scene setting takes place at the school gates (where a LOT of emotions happen), a scandalous court case, and the poisonous and twisted memories of keep popping up.
There is no school Ashams like the one in the novel but fun to try and find it!
