When Mary Russell was a child, she adored her Uncle Jake, the black sheep of the family. Dublin and the castle are the main focus in the novel but there are scenes set in London – not included here as they are the usual Sherlock Holmes sites. Interesting, but here, Dublin takes precedence. There’s also a train journey down to County Wicklow and a few villages there. a teaser on the map but you have to read the book to fully appreciate the journey you will go on.
