Bea’s Book Wagon is a cosy, uplifting and comforting romance that tells the story of two love-interest hero’s vying for Bea’s heart – her artisan-cheesemaking childhood sweetheart and a knock-you-off-your-feet property developer. After impulsively jacking in her dead-end temp job and investing her life savings in a ramshackle old horsebox, Bea sets about turning her dream of running a bookshop into a reality, and opens Bea’s Book Wagon. But it’s not all smooth sailing, and as Bea struggles with the challenges of running her own small business, she can only hope that her love of literature and the power of reading can help transform the lives of her friends, her community and herself in the process.
Sussex
Oh for Blossom Heath to be real!
On top of that, there’s a book wagon! Oh we all need a book wagon! It sounds utterly amazing and perhaps the best thing to have appeared in a book for a long while. Can we have real book wagons and not just in Sussex please. They should be EVERYWHERE!
I mean….book wagons? What’s not to love? This is a hug to books in a novel. And you will be hugging this novel as it contains books, books and more books. Someone turns a horsebox into a book wagon and…is this not the best idea ever? I want to do this myself right now!
This book came along at just the right time now that the nights are getting darker and colder. It’s a story to read tucked under a blanket. Not to say it’s all charm and joy – there are some serious and dark moments. This is a cosy read with bite I would say. A bit of romance, a girl starting up a new business, some ups and downs….but all in all, the charm of the book shines through.
Plus someone who you think is a charmer but turns out to be a d*ck. Haha now that made me snort laugh! We all know one of these!
