What do ostriches and a farm in Alberta have in common with Costa Rica?
Not your usual travel book but travel with this one and you’ll never forget this visit to Costa Rica
The owners of an ostrich farm relocate to Costa Rica and that is the only start of this fun and quirky adventure.
There is a lot to see and do in Costa Rica and they find an agency specialising in tailor-made trips across the country. They have their own list of ideas about where they want to visit – Tortuguero Park on the east coast, spend time in Puerto Viego in the south, and see the volcanic area around Mount Arenal in the centre.
Landing in San Jose, the adventure starts. And so the hallucinations. Oh and mind the living fences…
There are photos and scrapbook snippets of the journey.
