Wiltshire
Rushwood Estate is a secluded English country house.
It’s the summer of 1969, when the protagonist, Mimi Mott, and her sister, Pamela, lived in a staff cottage on the grounds while their parents worked as gardeners for the Caswell family.
There is a bit of the story set in the Chelsea area of London but the main setting and location is the old house in the English countryside.
