Deep Flow isn’t a cult, but a community

There are lots of places that offer treatments and wellness sessions in the city but bet you haven’t been to one like Deep Flow!

The city of dreams and the city of LA where anything and everything can happen is evoked in the book. A few locations of note but most of the book is set in the wellness…spa/cult and other locations are suitably vague.

Savannah, Georgia – This is where Sadie and her family move after their lives are shattered by a terrible event and where Derek and Sadie move back to after college. Sadie builds a small artistic community here but it’s still a little too close to home.

Agusta Georgia – Not mentioned in the book – Sadie grows up in a small Southern town that’s never named, but is heavily inspired by Augusta and its surrounding area.

New York – A lovely nod to the iconic Strand Bookstore – as this is where Derek and Sadie first meet while in college (university)
